Four walls and a Curry Vinaigrette for mah boyyys

1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger (about 1/2 ounce), peeled and grated
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice or red wine vinegar, or more to taste
6 tablespoons olive oil

Pound the garlic in a mortar with the sea salt until it forms a smooth paste. Add the curry powder and the ginger, and work them into the garlic. Stir in the lemon juice or vinegar, then whisk in the oil.
